Do you want to know which is the best phone for seniors?
Well, this is a pretty loaded question. Often when people ask me what they should buy, I ask them what is it that they need a phone to do before I can give them any advice.
I always tell folks that you get what you pay for. However, there are plenty of inexpensive smartphones that can suit a senior perfectly. It all depends on what you want out of a phone.
What do seniors want in a phone?
Ease of Use: Do you like to take your time learning something new or would you prefer something that you’re comfortable using right out of the box?
Large display: You want to be able to see the screen better right?
Large Keypad: Keypads on phones are unnecessarily small. Do you have trouble hitting keys when using the phone?
Stylish: Sure, it’s nice to look at but most seniors want to keep their phone free from scratches as much as possible.
What do seniors need in a phone?
SOS: Senior’s tend to fall a lot, so it’s good to have a dedicated SOS button to press.
